With over 15 years at The Salon on Haven, Julie is one of our senior stylists.  In addition to her role as a manager, Julie has trained several new stylists in the salon’s associate program.  She has demonstrated a dedication to continually advancing her skills with training in Redken NYC, Pureology, Keratin Complex, BioIonic, Aviva Spray Tanning, and Bombshell Waxing.  Julie loves the challenge of new clients and has a passion for developing the perfect look for each and every client.  She listen’s carefully to her clients to understand their needs and makes recommendations on how to achieve their desired style.

Kelly began her career as a stylist at The Salon on Haven in 2006 and recently has accepted additional responsibilities as one of the salon’s managers.  Kelly strongly believes in continuous improvement through education and has a genuine appreciation for learning the newest trends and color techniques.  She has attended various classes over the last several years, including those offered at the industry’s highly accredited shows in New York and Las Vegas.  Kelly gains the trust of her clients by listening to their needs and working to create a look and style that they are comfortable with.  Most importantly, Kelly loves to make her clients feel and look great.  Kelly’s friendly personality is one that makes her clients feel comfortable and well taken care of.

Driven by a love for hair and fashion, Jackie began her career working within the salon's associate training program. As an assistant under owner/stylist Jacqui Bento, she developed her talents for client consultation, skilled color/cutting techniques and customer service.  Jackie continues to improve her skills by attending extensive color and cutting classes, including training in New York City and Las Vegas.  Jackie's passionate about high fashion updos, contour spray tanning, and has a genuine talent for creating natural looking highlights.  Her bubbly personality makes you feel at ease in her chair and it's likely that you'll have a few laughs throughout your service. Clients appreciate how Jackie listens carefully to understand the look they are trying to achieve for the moment, as well as the future.   Jackie intends on continuing her education in Cosmetology and looks forward to putting her signature touch on every client. 

Michelle's outgoing, creative and dynamic personality make her a perfect fit at the The Salon On Haven.   In an effort to grow her skills with Redken and Pureology, Michelle began her career with us as an associate for Manager/Stylist Julie Sherman.  She has attended multiple hair shows, including the Redken Symposium 2011 and has completed training in Simply Smooth Keratin, Aviva Spray Tan, and Bombshell waxing .  Michelle believes that there is always a new trend, style, or technique to learn.   She takes pride in her work and enjoys building relationships with all of her clients.   Michelle has experience with hair and make-up for weddings, proms and other special occasions.  With a genuine passion for her profession, Michelle strives to have all of her clients leave the salon feeling happy, refreshed, confident and looking chic.

Janelle has over 7 years of experience and holds several professional certifications. She is eager to learn and consistently attends hair shows to stay current with new trends and techniques.  As a Redken Specialist, Janelle has advanced training in hair color.  To add texture or softness to any cut, she loves to use a splash of color! Working on creating updos, from modern to classic, is another one of Janelle’s specialties.  Janelle’s overall approach is to create modern and fashionable styles for her clients.  Her goal is to gain her client’s trust by giving them personalized attention, listening to their needs, and advising them on the most suitable and comfortable style that will look great and be easy to manage in their own home. 

After graduating from Empire Beauty School,  Jessica began her career in the salon’s associate training program.   She spent nine months working with salon owner, Jacqui Bento, to further develop her skills a stylist.  Jessica made the most of her experience as an associate and pursued additional training in cutting, coloring, foiling, extensions, and make-up to become a well rounded stylist.  Her genuine passion for success is evident in how she treats each and every client.  Jessica enjoys the challenge of creating styles for her clients that help them feel comfortable and confident.

Kristin graduated from Hairs How Modern School of Beauty in 2011 and then spent a year in our associate training program working with Kelly Gillis, a senior stylist.  As a stylist, Kristin continues to gain experience and develop her skills by attending classes and industry shows.   She understands that every client is unique and listens carefully to what they are looking for.  Kristin is a passionate, personable, and professional stylist. who is motivated by the opportunity to provide her clients with the latest trends and styles.  With consideration of the client’s features and needs, her approach is to achieve a comfortable style that is easy to recreate at home. Kristin believes that feeling and looking beautiful shouldn’t be a daily struggle.

Tara attended the Paul Mitchell School of Hair Design and after excelling in the Phase II program, she graduated in 2010.  She started her career with The Salon On Haven in our training program as an associate under stylist/owner Jacqui Bento.    Tara is committed  to continuing her education and staying current with the latest trends and techniques.  Her additional training includes the Redken Symposium 2013, the Paul Mitchell Caper, NYC’s International Beauty Show 2013, Youngblood Makeup, and Aviva Spray Tanning. 

Following her graduation from Toni & Guy’s Hairdressing Academy in Rhode Island, Danielle continued her education with Julie Piro in our associate training program.  Danielle’s experience includes working in both Boston and Louisiana where she learned how to work with a variety of clients and hairstyles.  Additionally, Danielle has training in Advanced Redken Color, Youngblood Makeup, Moroccanoil Body, and Aviva Spray Tanning.  Her intense interest in the beauty and fashion industry motivates her to continue her education and stay up to date with current with trends.  Danielle works hard to make sure that every client leaves feeling relaxed, refreshed, and beautiful.

Casey began her career after receiving her cosmetology license in 2011.  Following an additional year and a half of training in the salon’s associate program under Julie Piro, Casey joined our talented team of stylists.   Casey’s knowledge and passion for hair and beauty continues to grow.  She recently attended NYC’s International Beauty Show and has training in Youngblood Cosmetics, Moroccanoil Body, and Hair Treats Extensions.  Casey’s focus is on pleasing her clients and finding a personal connection.  Ultimately, Casey’s goal is to  help clients find and maintain a hairstyle that they’ll love.

Alie graduated from Hairs How Hairdressing School in 2013 and joined the salon as an associate under Julie Piro.  She successfully completed the associate training program early in 2015.  Alie applies her knowledge and passion to the services she provides each client.  She wants to completely understand her clients and help them achieve the look they want.
